Settings Wizard has Screwed up my B9870

Hi,

I had a Curve on Pay as you go and converted to contract and goit a free Bold 9870.

I used ths Device Mnager to "migrate" my system and now it is a real mess.

 

I used to be able to get email notifications from my private email server fred@fredsco.com and also Gmail notifications. Since migrating the icon for the ,ail account fred@fredsco.com is still visible but I have not received any emails. and all I get from GMail is Radio is turned off when I try to set it up.

 

I also migrated FlipSide and DocumentsToGo Pro neither of these work now.

 

Can anyone please offer me some advice?

Should I just wipe the Bold with a factory reset and then try and reload everything manually.

 

Additionally The Device manager says I have no media card installed yet it appears in my windows explorer.

 

Any help from you wise old sages would be gratefully received.

 

I also think the Vodafone reception is worse thn with the Curve, that used to work all over the house whilst the Bold is room limited.

Can you look at your Manage Connections screen and confirm that your mobile network (your mobile carrier) is turned on?

 

If that is on, On your BlackBerry device, go to:

1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.
2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site:
From your handheld device:   http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and log in. Then under Help!, select Service Books, then select Send service Books.

 

From your desktop PC:  http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American Carriers
- scroll down to select your carrier
WorldWide Carriers - Find your carrier on the list

3. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot. This reboot, even if you have already done this, is often needed to install the service books.
