Okay, I've got a BlackBerry Bold 9700 on Orange in the UK and it's been fine up to now but today I've had a problem all day with BBM and Internet. I have been told by friends that could be do with the signal but it's been on full bars on GPRS and the BBM messages and Internet still do not work! Or they are delayed by half an hour, an hour or in some cases 3 or 4 hours. I have tried changing it from 3G to 3G & 2G then 2G but this does not help. BBM & Internet won't properly even when I'm out in public! It also changes to GMS sometimes.. Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have the bb symbol next to your connection (GPRS, 3g etc)

I've had the same problem, I only just purchased a BlackBerry a few days back but the internet on it has been painfully slow, sometimes it won't even load at all, one reason i bought the phone was it's 3G capability. sometimes it's not even capable of anything!

It says gprs at the top of the screen, I've yet to see the 3G sign, I live in a decent area for a signal so I dont understand what's wrong, I haven't messed with the settings either, the wi-fi is great though but it would be good to use the net out and about considering I'm paying for it!

Make sure your network is set to 2G and 3G
