Slow Blackberry 9900 after doing a transfer from 9300

Hi I'm Hoping someone can help me with this.

I previously had a BB 9300 curve where i had lots of problems with the phone being slow. When i scrolled over the search option it showed this - ''yucvbm$Device Search "yiY".

When i got my the bb 9900 I did the transfer using the desktop software and it seems to have transfered the problems from my 9300 curve onto my 9900 bold. This problem is slowing down my phone in a big way and i was hoping there is a fix to it? If not will i have to re-install the phones software a format basically?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ross

Have a look at my post regarding restoring from an older model... leave out settings.

(sorry should have said - the topic title is - 'requested facility not subscribed') - make sure you have backed up your important stuff, then go to options - security - leave the ticks as is and then type in blackberry in the box...wait until it restarts then use selective restore to only bring back your data leaving the settings stuff out.
