Soft or battery problems

I have a BB Bold 9790 that keep restarts when the SIM card is inserted or charging cable is not connected. If SIM card is not inserted or data/charging is connected there is no problem with it. Can someone help me?

How old is your device , Is is still under warranty ? If it is then I prefer you should contact your Carrier and ask for a replacement , seen this issue with a few users.Its an hardware issue .
