Sounds & Alerts Not Working

Out of nowhere, my phone started making only one sound whenever an email, text message, etc was received.  I checked the sound profiles, and all my original selections were there, but every time I go into the Edit page and go into the Notifier Tone' drop down menu, every single one says 'Invalid ring tone selected'.  I'm not sure why this is happening.  These are all ring tones that are standard on my phone and came with it.  I thought maybe I had to do a system upgrade, but when I checked that it said I had the most up to date version.  Has this happened to anyone else?  How do I fix this?
