On Blackberry Maps, there isn't an option to start or stop GPS navigation which I understand there was on OS 5 (I am new to Blackberry). This is quite a glitch, as having set up Get Directions, you then can't follow the directions on the map, only have them as a list which is very small!
So I installed Google Maps instead...
On using that I kept getting:
"Application Permissions
The application Google Maps is attempting to reset the security timer.
Do not ask again
Allow or Deny
Vendor Modules"
Regardless of whether I ask not to be asked again or not, or whether I allow or deny, the message just keeps coming up. The only way I can get it to stop is to take battery out! Please help!!

I have the exact same problem, I would be interested if anyone can suggest a solution.
I have a Bold 9780 with OS 6.

I still have the Blackberry Maps prob (I understand everyone will until this OS6.0 gap is fixed). However, I have managed to fix the Google Maps problem. Uninstall it, and when you go to reinstall it, there are a list of tick box questions as to whether to allow or deny. I made sure that everything had a tick to allow in,and Google Maps has been fine since. Not sure if this is the best way to do it, but it worked.
