Suddenly cannot access blackberry.com on mobile

Hi,

 

I've run out of options/solutions so decided to ask my question here.

 

I have a BB Bold 9900 v7.1. I have an internet data plan that was working fine until recently. Suddenly the facebook application was saying "cant reach fb server" or BB App World  saying "we cannot connect you" etc. But weird thing was that the browser was working fine for all address except if I tried to go to "blackberry.com". So that's why all the other apps that go through RIM's servers first were failing. But what could have caused this??

 

FYI I've tried soft resets, hard resets, tried setting off mobile network then back on, tried setting off data plan then back on. Nothing has worked.

 

Can you please guide me what to do? This is driving me nuts! I've called my carrier, they said they fixed the problem but it's still there!

PS: I've seen some of you make mention of this: There are no entries in my Host Routing Table. Can that be the problem? And my APN shows 'pda.bell.ca' whereas for my carrier it's 'orange'.

Yes, having no HRT entries is a problem.

 

  1. On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status. What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?
  2. Do you have THE BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider? You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as additional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more. So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.

1. It says Not Connected.
2. Yes I do. Like I said, it was working fine until a few days ago. I have no idea what has changed since then. My subscription is still valid.
