Switching BlackBerry's - What the heck is going on?

So here's the deal, I recently upgraded my personal Curve to a Bold. I gave my wife the Curve, and took her Pearl as my work Berry. Here is the issue - Our contact lists on my Bold and her Curve seem to be duplicating each other. If I delete a contact from her curve, it also deletes on my Bold. Anyone got any ideas? My wife is a little pissed taht she has to run through all of my work and personal contacts to get to her stuff. Any help would be appreciated. To make the changeover, I backed up both phones with Desktop Manager, loaded her backup to the curve, and my Personal backup to the Bold, and the Work backup to the Pearl. HELP!!!

Re: Switching BlackBerry's - What the heck is going on?

Do either of you have your device on a corporate BES account, or are they all THREE only on personal BIS accounts?

Do you sync to Outlook on your PC?

Does the delete of a contact come automatically from one device to the other, or only after you sync to Outlook?

Details help, thanks.

Re: Switching BlackBerry's - What the heck is going on?

All 3 are on BIS, all can Sync to outlook, but none have been done except the Bold. Yes the contacts delete automatically (within minutes) which leads me to believe this  may have something to do with the BIS.

Sorry, should have mentioned all of that! Thanks for your time.

Re: Switching BlackBerry's - What the heck is going on?

A personal BIS account will NOT sync your contacts... it must be done wired via the USB > Desktop Manager.

So, each device of the three has their own BIS account with your carrier?

There has to be something else you are telling us here....

Now, are you using a Google Address book?

Re: Switching BlackBerry's - What the heck is going on?

Ok, so my face is red now. Never even thought about that *&^$ Google Mobile App. I am going to remove it from the Curve (because she doesn't use it anyway) and see how that goes. I am thinking that should take care of it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You folks are the best!
