Thanks again.  This is the regular upgrade I do on my Mac, but how do I get the OS 6 Telus on my T-Mobile Blackberry 9700?  Please advise.

hello, i'm new to using a blackberry. I was wondering if you could help me?

 I have a blackberry curve 9300 from t-mobile, but i use it for Mobilcity in canada. I would like to upgrade to OS 6 but there is no OS 6 for t-mobile yet. Can you guide me through on where i can find the OS 6 for the curve 9300 and how to install it? thanks.

Gester24: Manual device OS upgrade instructions:
1. First, download from this link: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=02A32AD2669E6FE298E607FE7CC0E1A0&dl=...
 
2. Do a FULL backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > Backup. Close Desktop Manager upon completion and unplug BlackBerry.
 
3. Save the OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
 
4. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
 
5. use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a complete backup)
then after you get the error 507 (no OS installed)
 
6. remove internet connection to PC and reboot PC.
 
7. Plug in BlackBerry and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file was in.
 
enjoy the new OS.

Oh sweet thanks. Does this mean i lose all my applications on my phone? because the're saved on my phone rather than my micro sd card. Also am i able to restore from the backup or is that not possible because its from OS 5? Thanks so much for the help.

No, if you perform a FULL backup, you won't lose anything.

Yes you will, even though its OS5.
Also, it will backup all your profile settings, everything. So you will be running straight away!
