After finding out photos had been deleted I see that text messages have been deleted also. I would like to undelete or recover text msgs. What are my options? Thank You

Do you have a recent backup from the desktop manager?

Do you use blackberry protect?

If not, those are the only 2 ways to restore text messages.

Similar issue - the BB Protect jusdownloaded last wknd, phone froze up and on restart the "text messages" folder has disappeared from any view.  I can see text messages if I happen to search through contacts, but they are not showing in any message folder. How do I recover (or un-hide if it somehow was hidden) the "text message" folder

Can I retrieve my text msgs from a BlackBerry server? I do subscribe to BIS through my service provider. Would my wireless provider have in storage, SOMEWHERE, my entire history of use?

Nope.  Without having a backup using the desktop manager or blackberry protect, those text messages are gone.

you may have to reload the OS if unhiding the icons doesn't show it.
