TrackPad Stopped Working on Bold 9700

Hello there, Fellow Blackberry Member's. Im having some issues here. Just Picked up my Phone and the trackpad is not moviing. at all. I never dropped the phone, Never got it wet, Nothing like that. Phone's been in a case since day one. i don't recall the purchase date as it was a gift so. im not sure about warrenty. and if it cover's this issue. It cost my Parent's alot of money and its been over 30 day's so the providor won't take it back they said to message you here. and see what you can do, thanks alot. i tried updating the phone, nothing's working.

Did you try removing the battery to reboot the device?

If that doesn't work then the trackpad has likely failed. The only warranty service is through your carrier so you will need to go through them. The device comes with a one-year warranty so if you purchased the device through your carrier they are supposed to provide warranty service for it. There is nothing we can do here. RIM does not provide official support here. This forum is a peer-to-peer support community only where users such as myself offer assistance to other users such as yourself.
