Trackpad problems 9790

I purchased the 9790 last February and had the occasional trackpad problem at that time - (not being able to scroll vertically or horizontally). The problem is now worse (frustrating to say the least) ...almost everytime I try to use email or BBM, I have problems with scrolling the trackpad vertically or horizontally (can't scroll to read the message)... any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. There is no pattern to when it works or does not work - it also has this problem up when using other apps but not as frequently.

I would contact your carrier for possible replacement of the device under warranty. The warranty is only one year so I'd contact them right away.
