UNABLE TO CONNECT AND SET UP MY BLACKBERRY PROTECT TO MY BB9900 SMARTPHONE

Dear support team kindly advise me about my BB Protect application that I downloaded is when I’m trying to set up it's not connecting when I press the final Connect  only showing “Connecting to BlackBerry Protect service…. “ my BB 9900 UAE Provider Du Telecom BBPIN <Personal Content Removed>OS V 7.1 all updated, I want to try your BB Protect application but not installing  to my Smartphone.

Were you able to sign in and connect using your BlackBerryID, or had you gotten to that point?

Dear Guru ... I was not able to sign in only showing Connecting ... but im almost waiting for an half a hour but still connecting.. I connected to wifi and have a Data package Bundle.. I didnt got to the point that i need to log in my BlackBerry ID. sir pls advise... thanks a lot..

Ok... Go to your main Options/Settings on your homescreen.

Go to Device > BlackBerryID.

Do you have your BlackBerryID information setup there? If not, do that.

Sir i already do that  before already have a blackberry ID of course because i downloaded the BB Protect to BB Apps using my BB ID its showing my detailsand Information so what will be the next why my BB PROTECT NOT CONTINUE TO SET Up...

I don't know why.

 

Deleting Protect and reinstalling should fix this.

Dear Sir i tried also deleting and reinstalling the Blackberry Protect same scenario not continuing installing only "connecting.." in the last option to proceed... pls advise..

After i confirmed to my carrier that BB PROTECT APPLICATION is barely needed a DATA PACKAGE PLAN before proceeding the installation and setup. I only had a BB SOCIAL PLAN thats why its happening. 

 

Solution: You should have a specific Data Plan Services in you BB to continue setuping BB PROTECT.

Dear All,

 

I have also faced same problem at start. Please note that you need to have BIS package activated on your mobile by subscriber. Then this application will works fine. On other packages this application is not supported.

 

My personal experience. Take BIS package and enjoy the application.
