Hello,

I purchased  an BB Bold 9900 on ebay.

It probably works because I already and successfully flashed the OS to version 7.1

The problem is that I cant see anything on my display.
It glows, the keypad glows too but the display just shows black screen.

After a little research I found out that the previous owner opened it up and changed the display, maybe to the worng type?

Currently there is 002/111 display built in.

Have you ever heard of putting in the wrong display so it stayed black?

Do you have any idea how to fix it ?

Have you ever heard or read of a similar problem ?

UPDATE:

I brought it to friend of mine today. He is doing reapirs for mobile devices.

Hopefully he can figure out whats wrong with it.

Hey, How did you flash your phone? My phone resently went dead, and i don't know what to do! I am being told that it needs to be flashed.
