UNWANTED REBOOT

my bold 9700 keeps shutting itself down and rebooting quite often, does anybody know why it might be doing that?

Re: UNWANTED REBOOT

There could be several reasons... the most common of which are poorly developed third party themes or applications.

If It were you, I'd delete all third party applications and see how it goes for a while.

Better even, would be to backup your device data with the Desktop Software, and then do a security wipe on the device, and restore the data (contacts, calendar, etc.), and see what happens.

Re: UNWANTED REBOOT

followed your advice, but instead did an application swipe instead of a full security swipe, it seems to be running all ok now, thanks for your advice.

Re: UNWANTED REBOOT

hi there, did the wipe like you recommended us to do, the phone is still rebooting itself, do you have any other ideas into why it might be doing this?
