My Device: Bold 970

Unable to Access Email using Bold 9780

Device info

Your carrier: Starhub(Singapore)

Model info and OS version : Bold 9780, v6.o Budle 2534


I am unable to connect to my email account via Setup>Email Accounts.


If i key in my username as bhimabi@gmail.com, it says "The user name is invalid. A username must be at least 4 characters".


If i key in only bhimabi, after trying to conenct for a few seconds, it says"The information you provided is incorrect. Retype the user name and password. Your username and passwor are case sensitive"


I am sure that my email address is the username as that is my Blackberry ID username. And i have used that method to log in before in the past(few months back).


Help would be appreciated







Battery Pull did not fix the issue.
