I just got my BB Bold 9900 today, and it was working great, everything was runnng fine, then I seen I needed to update the App World App.Phone reboots and when i go back to try to download some apps, it required me to sign into my BlackBerry ID, big deal right.
So I signed in and i receive a message saying "Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account."
It doesn't say please try again later, it says unable to, wtf. I go on my laptop, sign in through there and it works fine, so I tried again on my phone... still not working, changed that passwords a couple times, and it still doesn't work.
I just got this phone, and I'm already having problems and I'm just looking for some advice on what to do.

Me too... I changed phones and everything is working except for email. I type in my bb ID and the error message said that it "needs to be longer than 4 letters"... ummm ya it is... still no option to move further to activate email accounts.

My problem is similar. With my 9930 (Sprint), I cannot enter my email setup ("temporarily unavalaible") nor can I update App Worl (it keep sayimng "please wait"). HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having the same problem and from looking at forums so are of bold 9900 users.
Suggestions for fixing it include connecting your phone to your computer and accessing balckberry through the computers browser or wiping your phone and restoring it to factory settings. however have done both of these and taken my phone to a technican all of which has resulted in immediate fixes but the problem returns after a few uses of the app world.
All can say is that hope blackberry working on fixing this issue in their latest update but when you connect to the app world dont know how your meant to download it!
After having the same problem repeatedly within one week of purchasing the phone left wondering why just buy a iphone and be done with it!
If you hear of any solutions, please let me know

There is hope. I am on my third device and now all is fine. Keep trying - or simply wait for the OS update!

I'm using BB9700, OS 6.0 Bundle 1879 and having the same problem of not able to log in to access the email settings. It doesnt seem to be device or OS dependent. ![]()
