For some strange reason my BB ID will not work even though the details I am entering are correct. I have tried changing my password but it makes no differerence.
Blackberry protect keeps on messaging me to verify my BB ID, but this cant happen as I am unable to log in!
I can easily log in to my blackberry ID on the computer so confused to why I cant do this on my handset.
I have been in touch with vodafone but their solutions didnt work.
I have read though the forums and this seems to be a problem for others too.
I have tried most ideas people have mentioned such as deleting and reinstalling apps but this still has not solved the problem.
The next option is a full security wipe...
what should i do?
please help

I'm having exactly the same problem with my new torch, and as a result cant recieve any new emails etc.., I tried creating a new ID but the phone tells me that it is the incorrect BB ID for that handset and i have to use the original - that doesnt work!

I am having the same problem on a 9700 with os6. unable to access my mail, it say'suser name or password invalid. this is the 1st time i am experiencing this problem.

I've the same problem too. Can sign into blackberry ID on my PC, but not on the handset (I could earlier today).
Can't register for a new ID either! Rubbish

I'm using the Torch 9800 and can't log in to my Blackberry ID! I'm still receiving emails though and everything else works fine, even BBM. Just not App World.

Sadly that didn't work for me, ay updates on this one as I'm having unrelated problem with desktop software on my 64 bit laptop so can't back up my BB therefore am not happy with a full security wipe.

I am also havving this problem on my 9900. I am able to log in on my playbook!
