No battery pull, no reseting, no wiping, no nothing is working.  It still shows can´t turn wifi on.  what should I do? please help!!!!!!!!!

Hi jorgedrand.

Sometime it's depended on IT Policy which is installed on you device, can be reseted, but not always work, Also maybe restriction from you carrier data plan

Thank you random, but in my case I had wifi before, it just stopped working all of the sudden, plus, when I have low battery and try to turn wifi on, the entire screen goes blank.

When you have low battery - it can be switch off all radio in device .

The fact that you had Wi-Fi not say that you must have now ability to use Wi-Fi

If your carrier or BES Admin (if you on BES) decide that must restrict you, he can by IT Policy lock ability to use Wi-Fi.

 

Some of our user by Policy of company haven't Internet access, and if I connect device for this employee to BES, I automatically lock Wi-Fi and Browser by IT Policy.

Also data plan can include/exclude ability to use Wi-Fi.

 

The same can be done by carrier

I'm having the same issue on a BB 9000.  I've tried battery pulls, reloads of OS (and downgrade), and the test diagnostics don't have any WiFi hardware tests.

 

Is this issue still around for anyone?  Any other fixes other than going to provider for replacement?

Rebooting worked for me. Taking the battery out didn't work but ALT + R-SHIFT + DEL worked. Don't know what is the difference but it worked.

I am having the same problem.

 

I've tried everything, all tests were ok but still i am having the same error "Unable to turn Wi-Fi on"

I am using be 8520, I am trying to turn on wifi but it is not getting trun on. I also tried all the method but still facing same issue bluetooth is also not working.
If anybody know the solution then pls tell me.
