Hi All,
I keep getting the following error after doing a reset on my device: uncaught exception "a browser content provider for video/3gpp MIME type has already been registered".
I have uninstalled ubertwitter, shazam and all the themes I have downloaded and installed recently and I still receive the same error.
I cannot play any music or videos on my phone now ![]()
Please help!!!!

Sounds like software issue. You are going to want to complete a clean reload of the device software as shown here: http://bbry.lv/cG8oer
Use these articles to backup and restore your device. Here is how to backup http://bit.ly/aSediX, here is how to restore http://bit.ly/bSbfl3. I would suggest testing before you restore your data.

Problem resolved. I cleared all the apps installed on my phone and when re-installing found that it was WhatsApp causing the problem. Sent a quick mail to them and they responded with the following: "we have been informed by RIM that this is an OS bug which was fixed in OS 5.0.0.838 or newer" ... upgraded to the newer OS installed my apps and all was fine. ![]()

I have the same problem with bold 9700.
I do backup but when I want to update with the blackberry dektop application it does not allow me to select alternative versions.
I used desktop software 6.0.xx.
Could you please assist?
