Hi, I just bought a bold 9900, everything look fine. I have only issue with backlight. I can set it to max 2 mins, but I need a backlight which never times out, at least while charging. Because sometime I use google map, and backlight times out in 2 mins even app running. So while driving I keep pressing a button to turn on backlight. Is there a way to make backlight not time out ? Thanks

In the past I used a separate app, BBLight, which you could install and set for unlimited backlight timeout.
You might try installing it, or another, to serve that purpose.

Remember, if you want to use Unlimited Backlight, your battre life not along time. and if too often use the car charger, will affect the performance of your hardware, because the electrical conductivity in the car is unstable

This is not true.
I often use my auto charger while traveling, especially while using a mapping or GPS application.
It has not affected my battery life. And the electrical in most automobiles is not "unstable". I'm not sure where you get this from. If you have a source, please post a link.

If anyone needs it, just search in apps as Light, then it will come out. It isn't free, around 4 euros. I didn't install it, as I bought a navigation device. No more need permament backlight. Cheers.
