I am trying to update a password for one of my email accounts. I go to Setup, Email Account and nothing happens. The screen freezes. When I click escape, Exit, it freezes and I need to reboot. Can't get past this and BB's answer is that I need to get a new device. Any thoughts?

Alternatively, a rep at VZW should be able to clear this up.
You also may need to investigate updating your BB OS...perhaps it's become either corrupt or old:

Really? You spoke to RIM formal support? That would be quite odd...since you would have first have had to go through VZW to do so, and they really should have been able to clear this up since they have access to all of the "behind the scenes" systems necessary to diagnose and fix this...

Thanks for the feedback. Am travelling so will try this when I get home. Verizon couldn't help and BB couldn't help. Fingers crossed your advice works. If so, I'll "like" you!
