Urgent Phone Malfunction 9900

Today my Bold 9900 started freezing numerous times and shutting down and restarting on its own.
Can you help me fix this problem please.

1 - Do a battery pull.  Remove your battery then replace it.

2 - Reload your OS using BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Plug your phone in to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Click Device at the top of the software then Restore.  Choose the most recent restore point and load it.
