I recently bought a bb 8520 curve. Can any one please help... I have to reboot the device (take out battery) every time I want to view new photos or video's that I have taken. How can I fix it? Thephotos appear in my memory card only after the reboot.

Re: View photos

Are you sure the photos are being saved to the Media Card?

Open the camera > Menu key > Options... scroll to the bottom, where is the default SAVE TO location for the pictures?

It should not take a reboot to view the pictures, however, I have seen times that the device needs a reboot for the media cache to appear to show the new images in the Pictures section.

If you instead click on the Media icon > press the Menu key > Explore and navigate to the correct folder, do you see the new images AFTER a new picture is taken, without having to reboot?

Re: View photos

Thank you. Yes it is set to save to the media card, but if I explore folders it works. Just such a schlep to get to a photo. But thanx I don't have to reboot then!

Re: View photos

Good luck.

Yes, then the pictures are not immediately viewable from the "all pictures" shortcut folder due to the images not yet being cached on the device. That happens after reboot.
