Wi-Fi preferred

If I place Network preference  > Wi-Fi preferred does this means that when Im home/ connected to wifi wont use my BB internet data plan?

I did a test, Network preference  > Wi-Fi only, and I was able to sent emails / gtalk or to twitter, all are Blackberry apps.

So what you think about this case?

Thanks.

Re: Wi-Fi preferred

Anytime you're connected to WiFi, the device will use the WiFi as the preferred data route for all data... especially BlackBerry application data. Some third party apps may not use WiFi, it's hard to say about those, but it is my understanding they will, although some few apps may only use the TCP/APN connection.
