I've just upgraded from a Bold 9700 to a Bold 9900, subsequently i've sold the 9700 on mazuma, but want to wipe all information / emails / photo's/ texts etc off it, prior to sending it off - is there a quick fix way to do this?
Also - everything has been uploaded / updated onto my new 9900, though i keep recieving a msg when i recieve a sms saying bberry sms is full delete messages - i have NEVER ever deleted a sms previously on my 9700 as it never requested me to, and as far as i'm aware that would involve deleting an entire message history with an individual contact - can anybody suggest a solution to that?

A simple way would be to set a password on the Blackberry and lock it. Then enter the wrong password until it deletes all data. You can also install the Blackberry Desktop software and choose "delete data" in the device menu.

Yet another idea is to go to Options>Device>Security>Security Wipe on your homescreen and follow the prompts from there. However, the previous response about setting a password then entering it incorrectly 10 times would also work, but it'll take longer to do.
I hope that helps you.
