Wireless data transfer

Swiched from a pop3 server to microsoft exchange server for e-mail accounts.  Trying to activate the wireless syncronization for contacts, calendar, tasks and memos.  No option available to active as per most instructions available.  Do I have to remove all old information and start from scatch???

Re: Wireless data transfer

Hey logman403,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

What BlackBerry smartphone are you currently using?  If you're using the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone, you will need to be setup on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server for wireless calendar or contact synchronization through Microsoft Exchange.

There are free options like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.

Re: Wireless data transfer

Thanks for the quick response.  I am using a Bold 9700.  I was told by our support staff if I upgrade to a Q10 or Z10 this will not be an issue.  Is this correct??
