adobe Reader for 9780

[ Edited ]

Bold 9780 with OS 6 is not opening adobe files. I tried to download software through adobe website but it says that adobe reader is not available for this OS.

Is there a way to view ADOBE files.

thanks

Re: adobe Reader for 9780

You can read PDF files sent to you as an attachment to an email with no problem.

PDF files saved to copied to your media card must use a third party PDF viewer for BlackBerry, such as PDFtoGo, or Repligo.

There is not Adobe Reader for BlackBerry.

Re: adobe Reader for 9780

My BB Bold 9780 does not do pdf's. It does not even show the paper clip icon on the email to show an attachment. If I forward the email the attachment does end up at the destination (on my desktop). This is a major shortcoming. I would expect to be notified of any attachments and not what appear to be blank emails.

OS 6 sucks,   the 9780 sucks

I can't believe there is no support for pdf's built in. I would never even think to ask if the blackberry was able to read pdf's - duh - surely they would.  BUYER BEWARE must be RIMM's motto.
