bb 9780 crashing

Got a BlackBerry 9780, running 6.0 Bundle 2949 (v6.0.0.668, Platform

Provider is Vodafone GREECE

Phone keeps crashing or freezing up - occassionally the " white screen" appears also. Have not determined a pattern when the crashing occurs - it might be when trying to access the contacts, switch on the camera, access the main menu or even trying to answer an incoming call. Battery Pull is the solution but even that does not always works and following restarts might have a "sluggish" period of a couple of minutes where the phone seems to be working overtime - the "busy clock" appearing and vanishing several times and the arrows (upload/dnload at the upper right corner) blinking like crazy...

No Apps have been loaded other than the ones already preloaded to the phone

The problem happens more than 10 times a day and drives me crazy.... Experienced the same thing with the 9700 a couple months ago hence moved to the 9780 but hugely disappointed once more... bb user since 2002 but i just wish i had got an android Smiley Sad

pls help
