bbm messenger blank

i put my sim card into a new blackberry and can't get blackberry messenger to work, i can get as far as setting up blackberry messenger then the screen just goes blue! ive deleted it and reinstalled twice but its still doing the same thing can anyone help please?

This time, delete BBMessenger from your Options > Advanced > Applications.

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Now, reinstall BBM from this URL using your BlackBerry browser... www.blackberry.com/bbm
