I'm not quite sure what you are referring to here. Can you please clarify? Do you have a BlackBerry® data plan with your wireless network provider?

I have a fiend with an old BB curve. We were set up as bbm/chat . but got deleted. Now I can't get the invite to bbm to work. When I invite it goes to her e-mail and shows up in red....was going to try a scan barcode invite but can't find the barcode on her phone. I don.t know why the phone won't except the bbm invite . it did in the past.

Does your friend have a BlackBerry® data plan with her wireless provider? Alternatively, have you tried adding her via the BlackBerry® PIN?

Yes my friend has a data plan. Yes I tried invite with pin , with phone #, e-mail. We were connected before and using BBM  now it will just not connect. I believe it is an older Blackberry pearl.
