switched to new Bold 9900, need to switch my blackberry email address from old device to new 9900, No problem switching my non blackberry email address. It will not let me reload my previous blackberry address, wants to add a 1, 2, or a 3 to my name. I guess I need to ell the Blackberry server my new device

It should be an easy switch; when you get your new phone, you just input your email address and it cancels it on your old phone. That's obviously not happening so giving your carrier a call will correct the problem.

I went thru this yesterday. I had to call my service provider and they fixed it on their end. They gave me my old BB email address without problem. They also generated a one time password which they emailed to my home PC and then I set a new password. It took about 20 minutes to start getting emails to my BB account. Like you, all the other emails went fine. It was just the BB account and the answer lies with your service provider.
