blackberry messanger

I've just completed the latest software update.  after completion i also upgraded my messenger.  it shows i have messenger installed but i cannot find the icon any where.  i did a search which turned up empty.  help

On your homescreen, press the Menu key for about two seconds to allow the active applications to popup,, is BBMessenger among them? Can you click on it?

no the messenger icon is not in that menu either.

What shows that you have BBM installed?

I would suggest this:

  1. Do a reboot: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
  2. Use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/bbm and download/install the Messenger application again.
  3. After installation and possibly another reboot, check your Instant Messaging Folder, or Downloads folder for the application.
