is the Polar H7 bluetooth heart rate transmitter compatible with the 9930? Cant get it paired.

AFAIK - the heartrate monitor is a Low Energy device, and the BlackBerry 9930 does not support Low Energy.

You should be able to communicate with this device.
If you have the NDK installed, you can see btapi/btgatt.h and btapi/btle.h for available functions.
