Hi can anyone help.
I accidently removed the battery from the phone while it was still switched on. When the phone reset itself, I lost all my media (photos & mp3). I tried to put my mp3 music back onto the phone from my PC using the desktop manager but an error message pops up telling me I only have 2.8mb of memory. How do I get my memory back?
Many thanks

A simple reboot of the device while powered on will not delete media, or any files on the device, for that matter. That is the recommended matter to reboot or restart the device.
Where were your pictures and such stored, on the Media Card or the device memory?
Look at Options > Memory. Tell the status and size of the memory there.

maybe the media card has come out of the slot a bit, happend to me before.
Press the card in and it should pop in or it might be ejected.
once in all the way, try looking for your songs again. I f you have a lot it might take a lil bit to refresh them all.

Doesn't appear the images and music were stored on a Media card.
Please look again at Options > Memory. Do you not even have a Media Card installed?
For the missing images and media, please open your Media icon and press the Menu key to EXPLORE.
Look in there, under ALL folders. Any sight of the files?

Glad to see you are doing better.
It is not a waste of time.
I wasted some time one night with a few battery pulls only to find out it was really not seated all the way in. Some times it is the simple things that make it look like a huge issue.

I have a reoccurring application memory loss, initially I may have around 6,689.345 bytes of applications memory however after only an hour or so I will be down to zero and no application will work it just freezes up and I have to pull the battery out to get the memory back, I have tried blackberry apps advanced ram optimizer and also memoryUp personal neither of which has solved the problem and I am getting tired of pulling the battery out all the time, at times it will also freezes up and say app error 603 which allows me to reboot but any alarm you may have set will not have occurred., i know this must be a common problem so any ideas on how to stop this aggravating battery pull?
