i have had my blackberry bold for around 8 weeks now. I went shopping yesterday and put my mobile in my handbag it had a bumper case on. When i went to take my  phone out of my handbag to use it the screen was cracked. Its still in full working order and hasnt got any other mark on it.  I dont think it should have happend after 8 weeks of having it and i dont think it is unresonable or reckless to put a mobile in a handbag so im thinking it maybe had a fault in the screen. its on contract ith o2 and am not sure what to do nxt. will it still be under warrenty???

Hi,

Any external damage that was caused to the device due to use is not under warranty. 

It is taken under warranty only if there is a manufacturing defect.

Though I doubt that your device will be covered under warranty, you may go to the nearest official blackberry or your service providers service center and check with them.

ok thanks,  so if i hav to buy a new screen how much do they cost and would it be better to go through blackberry or o2?

I dont really have an accurate figure. But it should be around a 100$
