My Device: blackberry bold 9780

cannot browse internet through my 2g packs

i have not been able to use gprs in my bb bold 9780 since the day i activated a daily tata mailite plan of rs.12. when it expired, i was no longer able to access internet through the normal gprs packs. help!!

Hello,

No one here has any access to any of the Tata Docomo systems necessary to diagnose your issue. You must ring them up and have them help determine what is going on in your situation.

i have tried that too!! i called the docomo call centre and they directed me to their blackberyr helpline. they in turn informed me that i cannot use my blackberry phone to access gprs through normal 2g packs. i answered that i was able to do so with another sim. so they advised me to change the TCP/IP settings which i did with no results!! i called again and this time they said that there is no way i can use my bb bold 9780 to use 2g packs!! :smileysad:

Well, no one here has any access to anything that can override that official and formal response you received. I have no guesses as to why it worked for you before, but can only take their response as authoritative. They control your contract and services.
