my friend gave me his BB Bold , it is unlocked and everything but the thing is that i cant use bbm or the app world, ive done some research and found out that i have to have a blackberry plan or something like that , dose any one know how i can get that or is there away around this??

You are right to use BBM and other services of BlackBerry you need Specific BlackBerry Data Plan also known as BIS from your Carrier , It is your Carrier who can activate that on your Account.So call or contact your Carrier.

How to get the BlackBerry Data Plan has been explained to you in several previous posts.

Please review your posts here and stop duplicating your questions.

Likewise, your profile here says you have an 8900 model, a Curve.

Now you say you have a Bold. What model Bold?
