email on BB Bold4

Dear Sir,


i'm using a Bold 4 smartphone, and i' am facing a problem with the email folders (sub inbox) which i created on my laptop to organize my job, But on the BB i can't reach them.


Please advice.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

With so little detail, it's rather challenging to provide you with an accurate answer...so we'll start with questions...

How, exactly, do you receive email onto your BB? BIS/Personal/Internet email from some email server? BES/Enterprise from your company? Some other means?

How, exactly, is your laptop connecting to your email server? Are you on corporate Exchange via Outlook client? IMAP? POP? Something else?

What, exactly, are you using on your laptop? Outlook? Some other email client? Webmail? OWA? Something else?

In general, there is no connection between your laptop and your device for email. Each interacts with a server via some means, and depending on that server and service, what you do on one may or may not reflect to the other. For example, unless you are on BES, then you have no access to server email folders from the device email interface at all, for that is a BES-level function, not available to BIS-level users.
