i just updated my bold and sadly cannot read any arabic messages or websites.....

does anyone know how to install the arabic language?

You need reinstall the complete O.S. with one that supports multilingual input.

I have the same problem, i found the comlete O.S supporting Multilingual and i did downlad it , now how can i update my device software after the download ?

Install downloaded device OS software on your desktop computer.

After that connect your Blackberry device to the desktop computer and run Blackberry Desktop Manager.

After that run Application loader in Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Don't forget to locate the vendor.xml file and delete it, before that connect your Blackberry device to the desktop computer and run Blackberry Desktop Manager

It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

Vendor.xml removal is necessary if your device OS came from not your wireless provider.

In this case please note that wireless providers disfavor use device OS for your device model but from another provider.

im trying to enable multilingual (specifically arabic) on my bold 9700

i tried to download Mobily update to OS verison 5 but did not see arabic listed

what is the latest OS ver 5.x that supports arabic INPUT ? because i can read arabic without issues

i dont need full arabic interface menus etc.. , i just need to be able to write arabic like my old bold9000
