how do i copy contacts onto sim card or micro sd card to transfer to new phone

You can only copy ONE phone number at a time. There is not a way to do this all at once.

Copy a contact to your SIM phone book

 

What is the new phone? There are likely better methods to transfer the contacts if you will determine from the other manufacturer how they are able to import the contact data into the new phone.

new phone is samsung galaxy mini they tell me to copy on to sim card as wont sync with outlook do  you have any ideas other than copying one at a time will take forever

Yes, as I said, ask Samsung how to import your contacts to that device.

Ask specifically if you can import from an ASCII CSV file.

 

If it will import that... I can help you.
