mailserver problem - help !

[ Edited ]

We just changed work server from POP3 to IMAP. Emails to my BB bold are coming thru fragmented. Any suggestions about what I can do to stop this ?

Please use plain text.

Re: mailserver problem - help !

Can you explain what you mean by fragmented?

This is not a BES account, but only BIS?

Re: mailserver problem - help !

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

By fragmented I mean that I'm only getting about 1 letter in 10 coming through in emails. The occasional email comes thru ok, but most are unreadable.

I don't know what BES means. Can you explain ?

Re: mailserver problem - help !

Hi again,

Yes that's pretty much it, tho the last few seem to have come in ok.

Is it a server problem ?

Re: mailserver problem - help !

I doubt it's a server problem.
What language is set on your BlackBerry and in what language are you receiving emails?

Re: mailserver problem - help !

Display language and Input language are set to UK English. Is there anywhere else I need to check for language ?

Emails are all in English.

Re: mailserver problem - help !

Let me suggest that you go to your email set up on the device and delete your email(s) which has this oddity. Reboot the device and then return to your email setup and setup your email again. Perhaps that will fix this issue, since you say your email servers were changed from POP to IMAP.
