mouse pad frozent

restarted my phone and now i cant open anything the mouse pad doesnt work only the touch screen however as soon as i go into say phone book i cant go back to the main menu.  I have restarted the phone twice now. please can you help

So, there is a problem with the track pad AND the back key?
