Yeah. U can copy and email the link to yourself and open it on your bb. Should work quite easily.

Hi there, I was wondering if you could tell me how I can put that version on my Blackberry. Sorry, but I don't even know where to start, well I guess I'll delete that new version, that keeps saying 'ASSOCIATING BBM WITH YOUR BLACKBERRY ID' and then?

Hiya.
Lets take it one step at a time.
1. Delete the "new" version of bbm
2. Copy the link ive posted before and email it to yourself. (If ure opening this page on your bb then just click it.)
3. Open the email on your bb and click the link
4. It should take u direct to the download page just click and u shld be ready to go.

I also have a same problem, there is no option to reinstall or delete it, what's the use of having a bb without bbm. Plis help!

I followed your link, done the download as per your instructions.

 

Not working.  It does not show anywhere on my phone that bbm has been downloaded.

 

Don't know what to do now.

Thanku very much for that link u posted, I used it to downloaded but I couldn't find it on my phone, I went back to appworld to my surprise I had an option to reinstall it again because previously I cud not reinstall / delete it.

Heya.
Not sure why thats happening to some people. I dont really remember if it happened to me. But mphile just posted a similar situation.

Not sure if it will work but check your app world and u shld see Bbm there. Should be in the 'uninstalled' list but you can check the 'installed' list as well. If its in the unistalled, click it and you should be able to simply 'reinstall' it. (Confirm the version so u dont reinstall the non-working 7. Version)

Hopefully that works. If it doesnt u might want to ask mphile how they solved the issue as i cant honestly recall if it happened to me.

Hi guys! Finally I was able to fix the problem by deleting the newest version and downloading the old one.

You can delete the bbm by going to the icon, click the bb logo and look for the delete option.

I was able to download the old version at some malaysian blog (?) i think. Im not sure but it's in blogspot. I don't keep my history so I can't access the site anymore. Try to search on google instead. Hope this helps :smileyhappy:

I had this same problem, and I managed to fic it.
It said it had a problem signing in.
So I backed up everything,
Did a security wipe,
On the fresh phone, I signed in again, and it worked!
I did this for a couple of friends too, it works.
That's the fix for the BBM icon dissappearing too !
