phone keeps shutting off

My phone keeps just shutting off automatically. Its fully charged and I have no idea why. I’m very worried. It has not been dropped or damaged.

it occurs about once ever day or other day.

Hi,

Go to options, status, type the word test, there isn't an entry field.

You will start a diagnostics test, I would run the full test again save the log.

I tried but it just started logging my keyboard strokes...i had to remove the battery to get out of it...

at the Verison store they mentioned that these two problems might be solvable by installing a new firmware:

1) shutting off issue

2) battery usage was very rampent 3G searching for the best connection using power too much)

what should i do now?
