my phone says phone not allowed mm6 where the network name goes? any help?

it means the last person that owned the phone had reported the phone lost or stolen and is barred from all networks

ive had a similar situation when i got a blackberry torch from cash generater had the phone less than 24 hours i called o2 gave them the imei no they said it was barred if you got from a shop take it back get a refund if got off someone in good fath either contact them or take to the police as they prob trying to claim on there insurance they get good money of you and they get a new phone off the insurance
