problem regarding applications

i use bold 9700 but twitter and wechat application are not running on my device....please solve this problem as soon as possible

Are you getting any error message while running those application ? 

Are you able to use other BlackBerry application like BBM , emails without any issue ?

Well all other apps are running but twitter and wechat doesn't open up they just keep processing

Have you tried a Battery pull reboot yet ! Do it by removing the Battery the battery while your device is Powered On , wait for a min then reinsert it back , after reboot please check if it works.

Hi there,

 

Currently which version of witter you're having ? The most recent available is ver. 4.2.0.8 .If you're having a lower version then you should update it .

 

But first try those steps in the same sequence , it may help :

 

1- Register your Handheld .

  • KB00510 : How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
  • Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.

2- Resend your Service Book

  • KB02830 : Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • ( Wait till a Registration Message comes in your message box for each email that you have configured on your device )

3-  Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back

 

Try it and let us know.

I have done this..but now an error has pop up saying
Uncaught exception: java.lang.noclassde found error

Have you recieve those registration messages in your Message Box !

When you recieved this error message , while running Twitter application ?

If it's then I think there is some problem within Installed twitter application .To resolve your issue with this error try reinstalling twitter application but first delete any existing version of twitter app from Options > Device > Application Management > locate and delete twitter from that list.

 

KB10040  :How to view or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone

 

After deleting perform a battery pull restart by removing the battery while your device is powered On , wait for a min. then reinsert it back .

 

Finally , after reboot use your BlackBerry browser and browse to www.blackberry.com/twitterdownload and download the most recent available for your device.

 

Please try it and let us know .

This error occur when I tab the twitter icon..I have installled the latest version..done battery pull out

Hi there,

 

From your above post I can't assume if you're still having the same issue ? Are you able to access twitter application now ?

 

If you're still unable then I suggest try to reinstall in the same manner as I suggested above .
