random errors and home screen picture

I have 1 seemingly big problem and 1 minor problem

1: the phone randomly resets and gives me some error message... it will continualy reset over and over until it eventually goes back to normal.

2: whenever I sync with my computer the home screen picture resets to the Rogers Picture...

anyone else come across this?

otherwise the pohone is awesome

Re: random errors and home screen picture

Hi and welcome to the forums!

The error message needs to be specified, OK?

As far as the home screen, it happens to me also, Most people say if you move it to the media card it won't happen,

I've tried both and it gets erased every time!

Let us know the error code!

Thanks

Re: random errors and home screen picture

I have the same issue with my new Bold and the home screen. Each time it backs up, it resets to the Rogers wallpaper.

any thoughts on how to fix it?

many thanks in advance

Re: random errors and home screen picture

I just figured out (after hours with our IT people trying every possible other thing) that this reset to the Rogers screen is triggered on when I access the mass storage mode by entering my device password. If I don't access that mode, and otherwise backup my device as normal, then the screen does not reset.

I don't know if that helps anyone else, but I hope so as this was frustrating...
