remotely activate bridge bold 9700 os6

my wife's 9700 screen died.  I was able to pair her bold with her playbook by bluetooth. But now I need to turn on her BB Bridge so she can check some rather urgent texts.  This is totally in the blind as her screen is all white. Any keyboard shortcuts or bb protect tricks? HELP

You might have to reload the phone's OS.  To do this, you'll need to connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.   You'll then be guided to what to do next.  If your phone will not connect to BDS, have a look at this article:
