retrival of info from internet in a case where blackberry is stolen

my blackberry got stolen while i was on vacation with my kids. i would like to know if i can retireve all my info such as phone numbers, contact details, my pictures and videos from the internet, and if so HOW to? please advice

If you're on a BES, when you reactivate you're new device it would download most of your information. If you're just using BIS then unless you made a backup of the data using the Backup and Restore feature in Desktop Manager there's no way to retrieve all of the data.

Always a good idea to keep a backup once a month or so, just in case.

tq for reply. what is the difference between BIS and BES? and how can i find out which i'm on? would my mobile operator be able to tell me?

the differences are:

 

BIS - BlackBerry Internet Service = email service provided by the respective carrier; T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Rogers, etc, etc...

BES - BlackBerry Enterprise Server = email service provided by a server ran by a company. For example by your employer...
